Our Story

Aaron Devoy and Rob Smallbone formed Devoy & Smallbone Properties in 2016 having initially met at University and having known each other for 10 years. We are driven by a desire to invest in property for the long term in order to achieve financial and time freedom, Our goal is to help others achieve their financial independence through property investing too.

Our values make us who we are. Our values are authenticity, integrity and congruence. We live and breathe these values as they provide clarity and consistency in Devoy & Smallbone Properties and its investors.

We focus our investments in Humberside, primarily in and around Hull, due to the long term plans for renewable energy and the re-emergence of Hull itself. 

Property should be viewed as a long term investment vehicle and Hull meets these requirements with a long term strategic plan that is backed heavily by the local council and government funding. 

Our network and systems ensure that all our properties are located in areas with robust rental demand and are purchased at below market value prices to optimise capital gain from refurbishment.

Rob Smallbone
Operations Director

Rob, from Reading, is the co-founder of Devoy & Smallbone Properties Ltd. He orchestrates the vision and path that DASP takes and has the social skills that has enabled him to build a large and powerful network within property and the Hull area itself. With a very keen eye for helping, Rob inspires others with his vision and empowers others to take action and can be found regular attending or speaking at property events.

Aaron, from Brighton, is no stranger to investments and systems. Also the co-founder of Devoy & Smallbone Properties Ltd, Aaron uses the systems at DASP to their maximum potential by being able to locate suitable properties in strong areas of Hull and beyond. With experience in investing and accounting, Aaron keeps the company running behind the scenes with day to day systems and process management whilst keeping on top of finances, economic factors and growing the network.
